During the pandemic, I embarked on a transformative journey into the realm of visual and interactive technology. Motivated by the surge in DJ performances via Zoom from home studios, I began experimenting with VJ’ing, Video Feedback, Video Synths, and Raspberry Pi’s to create visual experiences. This period of exploration led to the creation of "Basement Tapes".
Together with my two bestfriends, Anthony and Blaize, we re-imagined a new way to present livestreams filmed entirely in my basement during the COVID-19 lockdown. If you know any of us, you’re aware of how much we value music, community, collaboration, and DIY culture in our lives.
This is our first collaborative project, and it’s been an incredible journey creating unique online episodes that offer a new way to experience live music.

Special thanks to Anthony and Blaize.
Anthony, thank you for sustaining this with me and for your creative imagination. You inspire me. Blaize, thank you for building this special world with me. Without y’all, this project would of been just another imagined dream.
It has been an honor and the sweetest gift to create, learn, explore and build with you both. We kept the spirit of dance music and club culture alive during a global pandemic and it grew into something that our community cherishes. I am so proud of us.
The deepest gratitude to all the DJ’s, Artists, + Contributors invovled, thank you for creating something so special and meaningful with us.
